You stared at the television, trying as hard as you could to keep your eyes open. You wanted to stay up and watch all the cool, adult shows that came on at night with your “Uncle” Gilbert. However, every night you fell asleep on the couch and your father, Ludwig, would carry you upstairs. You never thought it was very fair, but it wasn’t like you could stop him if you were asleep. You thought they maybe if you could stay awake, he wouldn’t make you go to bed.
“[Name], perhaps you’re getting a bit tired?” Ludwig asked you, a slight grin appearing on his face.
You simply shook your head ‘no’.
“Not at all?” Ludwig continued. “Not even just a teeny bit?”
You shook your head again. “Not even a teeny weeny bit.”
Ludwig sighed. “Well, you should maybe think about being tired, because it’s time for bed.”
“What?!” You cried out. “But, I want to stay up with Uncle Gilbert and watch all the cool, grown up cartoons!”
“Yes, but you’re a child,” Ludwig replied, “and children have bedtimes.”
“You’re Daddy’s right,” Gilbert backed him up. “Even your awesome Uncle Prussia had a bedtime when he was a kid.”
You blinked, surprised that Gilbert had actually had rules as a child. You had never thought that he would be one for rules. You nodded, realizing that you needed to have rules, too, considering the fact that your father would be so mad if you turned out like Gilbert.
“Go get ready, okay [Name]?” Ludwig instructed. He picked you up off the couch, stood you up on the floor, and shooed you towards your room.

You brushed your teeth, changed into your [f/c] pajamas, and now, you were finally ready for bed. You were upset that you couldn’t watch all the grown up cartoons, but you knew that you would become an adult sooner or later, so you weren’t worried too much about it.
Ludwig lifted you into bed and tucked you in tight, just as you had always liked. He took a seat on the edge of your bed and gave you a loving smile. He was the best father you could ever ask for, in your opinion, at least.
“Goodnight, little one,” He whispered to you.
“Wait... Daddy?” You asked, “Could you sing me a lullaby?”
Ludwig patted your head. “Of course.” He cleared his throat and began to sing to you:
“Good evening, good night,
Covered with roses
Adorned with thorns
Slip under the covers
Tomorrow, if it is God’s will,
Will you wake again
Tomorrow, if it is God’s will,
Will you wake again.”
You watched your father as he sang gracefully to you. You wanted to be alert and listen to his every word, but you were slowly slipping from consciousness.
“Good evening, good night,
Watched over by angels
In a dream they show you
The Christ-child's tree
Sleep blessed and sweetly
Look for paradise in your dream
Sleep blessed and sweetly
Look for paradise in your dream.”
Your eyes shut and you had finally fallen asleep. Ludwig examined you, using his hand to brush a few loose strands of [h/c] hair from your face. He chuckled. He knew he was pretty lucky, having a daughter like you. He carefully leaned down and kissed your forehead.
Ludwig up from the bed and headed towards the door. He took one last glance back at you, and whispered a few last words before leaving.
“Sweet dreams, little one.”

Uncle!Prussia x Kid!Reader x Uncle!Germany – War Sucks Eggs
You peeked your head out from behind the dumpster to see a rather short man standing over the now knocked out China. This man had short raven black hair and brown eyes. He looked towards your direction at the sudden movement. You stared at him for a little bit before he spoke.
“Are you who he was chasing, rittre one?” his accent gave it away that he was Japan. You nodded. “Werr, wourd you rike to come with me? My name is Kiku Honda.”
You were hesitant for a moment, but soon slowly nodded, not knowing the rest of the Allies were just turning the corner.

My Child - Bro Strider x Fem! Reader
For the first time, in probably Bro's life. He'd cleaned the whole house down top to bottom. All the boxes of takeaway pizza and Chinese had been thrown out, leaving the kitchen almost spotless. All the dishes and the work tops had been wiped down until they were crystal clean and any cosplay weapons were removed from the fridge and locked in his cupboard in his bedroom. It had taken him a solid 4 hours to tidy the place from top to bottom.
On top of feeding and playing with Dave of course. The tiny Strider was asleep at the moment, curled up on his older brother's chest. His breathing was quiet and calm, much to Bro's relief considering so

[Papa!Russia x Child!Reader] Promises
Run.
You can't register anything else but what your brain told you to do - run, and get as far away as possible. With all the snow swirling through the sky, that isn't exactly an easy task. You can barely see ten feet in front of you, and the snow on the ground only grows thicker by the minute. The tiny frozen particles on the surface already reach up to the ankles of your little legs, but you can't let that stop you. You won't let that stop you.
Your lungs burn from the frosty air, causing breathing to be difficult. Your limbs tingle from having gone numb, what little scraps of clothing you possess not exactly being the best winter wear. Ga

Woohoo, I've actually posted something! (apology, I've just been really busy)
This is only my 2nd Hetalia reader insert, so I'm sorry if I've totally butchered Germany and Prussia. I tried man, I really did. <:c
I didn't think of the lullaby, it's a traditional German lullaby that I remember hearing when I was little. It took me absolute forever to find it - I had to be pick, of course - but I found it, and it's so cute.
P.S. The picture is not mine. Only the writing.
