Homestuck: 7 Minutes in Heaven - Rufioh

You reached into the box and pulled out a miniature pair of wings. The seemed to be some kind of accessory that would be placed on a doll. With not a moment of thinking, you knew the item was Rufioh’s.

That’s when everyone began whispering.

You knew for a fact that almost everyone at the party either had a slight crush on Rufioh, or had already made a move on him. However, he hadn’t accepted anyone’s gestures of affection... so who could he like?

“Rufioh, get on up here!” Dave slurred, nearly tripping over his own feet. Oh, how drunk he was.

“Bangarang!” You heard him say. He navigated his way through the crowd to make it to you. Once to the front, he waved at you, a huge grin on his face. “Hello, doll.” You shyly waved back and Dave shoved the two of you into the closet.

To be honest, you were pretty nervous. You weren’t really too sure what to say, so you just held your hands in your lap and awkwardly twiddled your thumbs. You hoped that maybe Rufioh would strike up a conversation, since you weren’t too good at it.

Lucky for you he did.

“What’s wrong, lovely?” Rufioh asked. Before you could say anything, he cupped your chin in his hand. “You seem nervous. Is it because of me?”

You blinked, your face turning multiple shades of pink. “Um... k-kind of, yeah.”

He frowned. “Well, how can I fix it? I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.”

Before answering, you pondered the question in your mind. What exactly could you say? You wanted to impress him with something cute and witty, but you could feel yourself shaking and figured that would go too well. Only two words could escape your lips.

“...Kiss me.”

Rufioh smiled, his eyes darting towards your lips. “As you wish.”

He leaned in a planted a soft kiss on your candy pink lips. He went from cupping your chin to completely caressing your face. The kiss became more passionate, Rufioh beginning to loom over you, nearly shoving your against the wall.

The moment was soon broken, since you needed to take a breath. Both of you were panting. Rufioh was giving you a sly look. You were sure you didn’t look as charming - you could feel the heat radiating from your face and a small strand of drool hung from your lip.

Suddenly, the door burst open. Dave was leaning on the doorway for support, too drunk to even stand up by himself. “Times up, Ru. Fi. Ohhhh!” He almost fell backwards from the force of his yell.

Rufioh helped you out of the closet. He smiled at you, and it was a smile you loved to see. He then kissed your cheek and gestured towards the banister. “Would you like to head upstairs with me?”
